Yellow House Ranch-  On this site you will find foaling calculators, color calculators, and some great information on how to tell if your mare is close to foaling!

Scott Creek Farm-  Ever wondered how to use the milk test strips?  This site has a wealth of information on every single aspect of breeding, foaling, dystocias, etc.  Even horse International Export laws. Very informative!

The Appaloosa Project-  Thinking of breeding appaloosas?  (yay spots!)  Here is alot of information on coat color transmission, genetics, night blindness, etc.  Don't search for appies until you've read it!

Reining-Appaloosa-    This site is basically the same as the appaloosa project, with a little easier read.  It's "Appies for Dummies" if you will.  It also contains a bit more statistics, and actual breedings.

University of Missouri-  This is a great site if you need to build a breeding chute, there are free plans.  There is also information on the physiology of the mare and stallion. 

Cole Parmer-  Everyone asks me what milk testing strips I use.  I try not to endorse anyone in specific, BUT, I hate to hear it when someone tells me that their foal predicting strips cost $40 for just 15 tests!  I buy them here, they test for the exact same thing, and are equally as accurate.....and they are 100 tests for $50!

UC Davis-  They offer genetic testing for the horses.  Everything from DNA testing, coat color, and even a new Dun Zygosity test!

Ocean Fire Arts-  Ok, this isn't exactly about the horse, but this lady is AMAZING.  She sculpts, paints, and shows model horses......and she can replicate YOUR horse.  Have a look!!

Equine Reproduction.com-  EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about getting your mare bred and foaling.  There is a forum to ask questions of professionals in equine reproduction, and the people there are very friendly and informative.

Everything About Breeding-  Wow, is there really a site that has everything about breeding!??  YUP!

Surviving Foaling Season-  You might not admit it, but it happens to the best of us.  Some of us (certainly not me) have been acused of going a bit nutty and obsessive during foaling season.    Here is a nice funny read to help you be more prepared this year!
